About Us

Ana Solis, OTR has been practicing occupational therapy since 1991.  She has serviced children of all ages in Early Intervention Programs, the Broward County Public School System, Private Schools, Charter Schools, via Tele-Health/Virtually (school system and homes), Homes, Private Facilities and Day Cares.  She has treated children with Developmental Delay, Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, Down's Syndrome, Sensory Processing Disorder, Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder and many more.

She has also assisted parents with navigating the Individualized Education Plan and mentored parents regarding the challenges of raising a child with special needs as she herself has a child with Cerebral Palsy.  Her daughter is now an adult and that experience gives her a unique perspective on how to cope with the variety of challenges confronting parents today.

Ana Solis, OTR has been Sensory Integration and Praxis Test certified (SIPT) since 1995.  She has also taught continuing education workshops through the American Occupational Therapy Association and as a volunteer, lectures for parent groups, teachers, Center for Autism and Related Disabilities, Nova Southeastern University Satellite Educator's Course, and Parent to Parent.  Besides volunteering at her church, she has even trained and insured her golden retriever to be a Therapy Dog.  She uses "Star" in a Dog Assisted Reading Program to encourage slow and reluctant readers to practice reading out loud.
